Speed is addictive...
A Fixed Wireless Broadband Internet connection is a great alternative to DSL and Cable Modem services in an area currently not served by carriers. CVB provides high-speed internet access by using unlicensed synchronous spread spectrum, which is also known as ISM radio frequencies. The company transmits data over the 2.4 GHz and 5.7 GHz radio frequencies at downstream and upstream speeds ranging from 768 Kbps to speeds exceeding 5000 Mbps. In some areas we reach customers up to a range of 20 miles.
A CVB wireless high-speed internet connection allows you to experience speeds faster than a T-1 connection. The wireless infrastructure involves a radio transmitter/receiver that connects you to CVB’s central access point and through intermediate antennas/radios. Subscribers in remote areas can log in into the CVB wireless network without the need for cables or optical fibers.
CVB is building out the infrastructures incrementally by placing individual antennas on towers or on residential customer houses, higher situated than their neighbors.
