What kind of payment does CVB accept?
- Central Valley Broadband is a PREPAID service, meaning that subscription fees are due before the upcoming service period. Customers who choose to receive an invoice will receive it one week before the payment due date. The date on the invoice represents the actual due date of payment. Customer is responsible for payment regardless if the service was used or not.
Billing services are provided monthly or yearly.
- Method of Payment
- The amounts due by the Customer shall be payable for monthly service. Payments can be made by check, credit/debit card, as Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express Cards
- Since March 1st, 2008 there is a $2.00 Billing Surcharge for sending a paper invoice.
Accounts more than 30 days overdue are being charged a $10 late fee. Also a fee may be applied to your account for any checks written that bounce. Please ensure that the credit/debit card information you provided is current or contact CVB with the updated or new information.

The Central Valley Broadband Web Based Portal System provides a complete automated environment to manage our contact with you as a client.
Our system offers the following features:

Change your Portal password
All account details, financials, documents, and a history of events, are managed within the system.
You as a client can access the system anytime and get real-time information. You can place new cases, add notes, view account activity and transactions history, status of accounts, ask questions and much more.

Why does CVB lock my account?
Because your account is Delinquent and no payments have been received.
CVB has the right to lock your account or terminate your service without notice if your account is delinquent or you have violated the Service Agreement. If CVB cancels your service for any reason, you are still responsible for the outstanding balance. See Service Agreement online
- Central Valley Broadband reserves the right to remove or suspend access to an account without notice that has an outstanding balance for monthly recurring fees, setup fees, handling charges, or any other fees. Suspended accounts continue to accrue charges until restored or purged, even if the account holder does not use the account. Accounts that are delinquent by more than 30 days may be purged from the system without notice. The balance due on any account purged from Central Valley Broadband remains due and may be sent to collections if not paid in full. You agree to pay Central Valley Broadband all costs, including attorney fees, collectors fees, accrued interest, and court costs associated with Central Valley Broadband collection of your past due amounts.

Why does CVB terminate my service?
- Central Valley Broadband may terminate the service agreement immediately and without notice in the event of any of the following:
- If the Customer is in default in the payment of any amount due.
If Customer violates any part of the Term Agreement
CVB may suspend or terminate CVB Service without prior notice if Customer fails to timely pay for CVB Service or violates CVB’s Acceptable Use policy. Customer may reinstate services so suspended for nonpayment by paying to CVB, within 5 days of the suspension initiation, the Service reinstatement Fee plus all outstanding amounts due, including the cost of service that would have been provided during the period of suspension.

How do I cancel my service?
- Customer may terminate service after the initial minimum term of this Agreement has expired with 30 days prior written notice to CVB and return or pay for CVB owned CPE. Such termination notice from Customer must be in the form of an e-mail sent to billing@calwisp.net, with “Terminate CVB Service” in the subject line of the e-mail and Customer’s contact information in the body of the e-mail. Customers who wish to terminate service prior to the initial minimum term are still liable for all remaining monthly charges of the term. CVB may, in its sole discretion, cancel service with 30 days written e-mail notice, should it determine service can not be provided on a consistent basis or if customer utilizes and excessive amount of technical resources
If I discontinue the service for a few months, is there an reconnection fee?
- Yes, should you for any reason discontinue the service for a few months because of remodeling your house etc. CVB will charge a re-connection fee of $95.95
Do you have a Money Back Guarantee
- If you are not satisfied with the service(s) ordered, you must contact us within 30 days to receive a full refund of the Installation Fee! You must also return the equipment.
